Establishing genuine trust is the initial focus of the WCC
outreach team. This is accomplished by getting to know the
homeless on the street - and simply being a friend.
The second phase centers on assessing the needs and
understanding why the person became homeless. Together we
implement a plan that brings help and restoration.
The actual transition off the street involves connecting the
homeless with family, friends, programs and services.
Repairing relationships is the key component to success.
In the final phase, WCC does follow-ups and offers continued
long-term support to the homeless and their families.who
